Academics

We are a Christian school, we blend biblical values with modern education, partnering with parents to nurture godly leaders who excel academically through God’s wisdom.

We are not affiliated with any church. It runs as an inter- denominational Christian school.

In Dansol, we run Lagos state curriculum and British curriculum (for checkpoint)

In addition to our core curriculum, we offer the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) programme, where our students are taught virtually by certified Ontario teachers.

We also prepare students for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), equipping them to excel both locally and internationally.

Once a student is identified as struggling, we promptly inform their parents and collaborate with them. Such students are enrolled in a free intervention programme called “Personalized Lesson”, where they receive supervised one-on-one support from subject teachers. Their progress is tracked weekly, and regular feedback is shared with their parents.

As a school , we exercise zero tolerance on bully. A bully occurs when a student asserts physical or psychological superiority over another student perceived to be weaker. Such behavior may include hitting , pushing , body shaming, threat, etc.

School Policies

Dansol students are required to wear the approved school uniforms. Uniforms must be neat, complete, and worn with dignity. Appearance should be modest and reflect our values of discipline and godliness. Approved hairstyles must be strictly adhered to: boys’ hair must be low and evenly cut, while girls’ hair should be neatly woven or plaited without extensions or attachments.

Discipline at Dansol is rooted in Christian values. We uphold respect, diligence, and integrity. Cases of misconduct are promptly addressed through corrective measures, counselling, and, where necessary, sanctions, with the goal of restoring the learner to the right path.

Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones, iPads, or personal gadgets to school. This ensures that learners remain focused on academics and character formation. Any exception is strictly regulated.

Bullying of any form is not tolerated. Reported cases are thoroughly investigated and handled with appropriate disciplinary action, counselling, and follow-up. Students are encouraged to speak up, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and care.

Dansol operates a child protection policy that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and well-being of every learner. Staff are trained to recognize and report concerns, and the school maintains a safe and nurturing environment at all times.

Facilities & Services

Dansol is well-equipped with modern learning and recreational facilities, including a fully stocked library, science laboratories, ICT Hub, coding and robotics room, music and arts rooms, foods and nutrition laboratory, sports grounds, and comfortable boarding houses for boys and girls.

Dansol does not run its own bus services. However, we work with trusted vendors who provide reliable transport services across several routes within Lagos, ensuring safe and convenient transportation for students.

Yes, we operate a standard school kitchen where wholesome meals are freshly prepared daily. Lunch is compulsory for all students, with menus carefully planned to ensure balanced and nutritious feeding.

Yes, Dansol has a well-equipped health clinic (known as the Recovery Room) with a doctor and qualified nurses available. They provide first aid and attend to minor health issues. In emergencies, parents are contacted immediately and appropriate medical care is arranged.

The safety of our students is a top priority. We have trained security personnel, CCTV surveillance, and strict access control procedures to ensure a secure learning environment.

Boarding House

The boarding fees include accommodation, feeding, and snacks. Payment for hostel requirements and pocket money will be paid for separately as indicated in the bill.

The core daily routine for boarding students include devotion, academic work, siesta, prep. Weekend routines are structured with a little bit of variation to accommodate training on vocational skills, sports, socials and spiritual formation programmes.

The boarding house policy ensure a structured balanced use of laptops for appropriate online engagements and academic focus.

Parents can interact with their children by calling or through video call between 5.00p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the official hostel lines.

Weekend body boarding facilities services are not approved.

The approved time for visiting home is during the midterm break and at the end of the term except when there is an authorized need for parents to take the children.

The boarding house has specific guidelines on approved hostel wears and personal clothing brought into the hostel. Details about this are stated in the hostel information booklet.

Snacks and fruits are given to students on alternate days. The students can get varieties of snacks at the tuck shop during the weekend.

The hostels are designed as home away from home. House parents provide 24/7 supervision concealing counseling and support for the overall well-being of the children. Every staff and student are to relate with one another as members of one big family and expected to respect one another. Students enjoy physical, emotional and overall well-being support from both the medical and the hostel staff. One hostel parent is assigned to each floor to supervise and monitor students routinely and impromptu a times.

The list of items to be brought to the hostel and items not to be brought to the hostel are stated in the hostel information booklet.

Evening extra tutorials, individualized lessons, academic tests and supervised prep as structured are designed to help learners to excel.

School fees are expected to be paid on or before the resumption date of each term.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments can be made via:

  • Online payment through the school portal
  • Bank transfer
  • Bank deposit

Yes, instalment payments may be made in bit and fully completed on or before the resumption date

Receipts are issued automatically for online payments and can be downloaded from the portal. For manual payments, receipts can be collected from the Accounts Office.

Dansol offers sibling discounts for 3 siblings who are currently in Dansol High school.

Yes, Written notice and proper documentation are required. The refund is made within Two weeks

Financial statements can be accessed through the parent portal or by requesting a copy from the Accounts Office.
